Lake Geneva Symphony Orchestra - Celebrating the Music of John Williams
Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 7:30 PM

Under the direction of David Anderson, the Lake Geneva Symphony Orchestra will take you on a thrilling musical journey of your favorite movie scores composed by John Williams. You'll enjoy recognizable hits from movies such as Star Wars, Harry Potter, E.T., and Indiana Jones. LGSO will also perform Williams' Clarinet Concerto rounding out a wonderful evening.

"Why Old Places Matter"

Dave Desimone of the Wisconsin Historical Society will explore the reasons that old places matter to people. Although people often feel very deeply about the old places of their lives, they don’t have the words to express why. Desimone brings these ideas together in evocative language and with examples of local, regional and national “old places.”

Our goal is your goal... being more active! This fun challenge is to help keep you going. Join anytime. All you have to do is register, download the mileage log or pick it up at the Recreation Office, and start being active. Once you reach 100 miles, you earn a T-shirt!

* We've had questions about equivalent miles for bikes. It's generally accepted that:
15 spinning minutes = 7 bike miles = 1 walking mile.

Co-Ed Tee Ball & Coach Pitch
Tee Ball: Ages 4*-6; Coach Pitch: Ages 6-8
T-Ball focuses on the basics of throwing, catching, hitting, base running and positions.
Coach Pitch
starts off with the basics, then works on more advanced fundamentals of the game, such as outfield relay throws, when to stretch a base hit into a double and directional hitting.

*Parent Coaches are required for children 4 years old.
