Let your kiddos’ inner artist shine through their very own 12x12 canvas masterpiece. Using a pattern, professional supplies, and a wide variety of colors, your mini Monet will bring home a custom design of their choosing. Aprons will be provided but be sure to dress for a mess.

Archery (8 years and up)

Enjoy the thrill of getting a bullseye! This fun and challenging sport is open to all 8 years and up (including adults). After understanding safety and the basics, hone your skills to become a better archer.

Fishing Clinic (Grades 1-8)

Come learn the basics of fishing on Geneva Lake in this fun filled fishing clinic! Local angler Tim Weiss, who is the youngest member of the Johnson Outdoors Watercraft's "Adventure On The Water" Team, will be there to show us some tips and tricks.

Rocketry Class (Grades 5 - 8)

Build your rocket and blast it off! These are REAL rockets, not water rockets. In this class, participants will build a small rocket using tubes, engines, fins, cones and parachutes. Class will consist of two build days and a launch day.

AgriScience Camp

4 - 8 Years old

Explore the wonderful world of agriculture! The Agriscience department and the Big Foot FFA will offer a fun-filled educational adventure. Our adventure could take children horseback riding (miniature horses), on farm tours, learning about animal safety and maybe even an exploration of nontraditional agriculture.

Joint Vacation Bible School

Birdhouse Workshop

Nerf Battle (Grades 1 - 8)

Each class we will have skill challenges where we'll will get to practice and compete in different aspects of Nerf Combat. Each child MUST have eye protection to participate. Bring your own Nerf guns - we will provide the “ammo."

Tree climbing is a great way to spend time in nature, get exercise, and have fun! After a how-to and safety tutorial, climbers use ropes and harnesses to climb into the towering trees. Once you’re there, you can sit or stand on the branches, swing or hang upside down!

Karate For Kids Ages 6+


Big Foot Recreation is hosting Star Martial Arts Studios - a karate program with a Sport Martial Art mix of Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Muay Thai, Kung Fu, Creative Martial Arts, and more. This is a safe, fun, exciting way to improve your child’s quality of life through skills learned at class. Min 10.

This fun paddle sport is designed for all ages is easy for beginners and yet fun for experienced players. Each day will focus on a different aspect of the game with a mini tournament on Thursday. Paddles and balls will be provided.

Professional Tennis Lessons at Big Foot (Ages 7-18)

Get professional lessons by USPTA Certified & FLAC's Head Pro Jeff Bernales. Jeff has over 20 years experience coaching several kids to IL state championships.

Rain/Heat meets in East Gym

Orange Ball: is 50% slower than the yellow(regular) ball with a smaller size court. Proper strokes and technique will be learned in a fun game environment.

Green Ball: is 25% slower ball than the yellow with a regulation size court. Players continue to develop good techniques and movement, and begin to implement game skills and strategy.

Teen Tennis:
For players who need more stroke refinement. Players will hit many balls and continue to learn the proper strokes and footwork necessary for productive match-play.

Get stronger, faster, more flexible and quicker all while helping to reduce injuries in sports. High school coaches will work with you in the weight room and athletic facilities to teach you how to use the equipment safely while preparing you for athletics.

She has over 150 wins, 5 regular-season titles, 4 league-tournament crowns and 4 NCAA Tournament berths 5 League Coach of the Year Honors.
