Open Gym & Crafts

Weekly Parent-Tot Open Gym and Craft Time (Ages 5 and under)

Keep the mess out of the house and let your preschooler play and socialize with other children at open gym and craft time! This is a perfect mixture of unstructured playtime with a variety of play equipment and craft time. You and your little one will have a blast with everything from making crafts, treasure hunts, building blocks, and much more! Parent/Adult supervision required at all times.
We encourage you register in advance for each week - although walk-ins are welcome.

Parent/Child Paint & Snack Ages 4+

Mother’s Day is just around the corner! Bring your child or grandchild and paint a 12 x 12 canvas with a lot of colors and a sweet little handprint. We’ll provide the art supplies, you bring your creativity. Snacks, beverages and books will be available to enjoy while waiting for the paint to dry. Min/Max: 5/12

 

Mommy & Me Tea Party (Ages 4 - 9)

Bring your little one dressed in their fanciest tea party attire and create a tiara and glamorous jewelry to top off their outfit for the fashion show! In the midst of all the fancy activities, we’ll enjoy cookies and tea (lemonade). Moms, make sure to let your little one dress you in their favorite “fancy” attire!

Youth Dance Classes

Instructor Lynette Vyhnanek... began dancing at the age of three. She is trained in Ballet (minor pointe work), Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, and Contemporary. Lynette has choreographed many solos, duos, and groups that hold First Place National Titles.

Get ready to wiggle and move by learning to use your gross motor skills, following directions, making friends, and having fun! One adult per child is needed to participate in this class.

Prepare for Ballet by learning the language, developing self-confidence and structure, and having fun!

Dance Day Mini Camp
Ages 2-6

All dancers will start class by stretching and learning the basics of ballet and jazz. Once we wiggle to fun music, we will read a short dance-related story and watch a short video clip. Goldfish will be provided as a snack while we read. After the story, we will finish with a picture and craft. All dancers are recommended to have dance shoes or be barefoot. Please dress comfortably and bring a water bottle. Parents are asked to remain in the building if their child is not yet potty trained.

Youth Soccer (4-6 Years)

This program focuses on the basic fundamentals of soccer. Our instructor’s approach emphasizes the rules, basic moves, elementary and fun-filled drills. This well-rounded program breaks down each position for a full understanding of the sport. All participants will receive a T-shirt.

Karate For Kids Ages 5+


Big Foot Recreation is hosting Star Martial Arts Studios - a karate program with a Sport Martial Art mix of Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Muay Thai, Kung Fu, Creative Martial Arts, and more. This is a safe, fun, exciting way to improve your child’s quality of life through skills learned at class. Classes are on-going. Min 10.
