Beginner Lure Making
Grades 4 - 8
This workshop will give you all the tools and parts you need to create your own fishing lures from scratch. Each week will focus on a different type of lure. From wooden glide baits to bucktails and jigs, all of these lures will be built by hand. Get ready to assemble, paint and customize real lures you can fish with!

Easter Egg Decorating
Come join six different art stations to rotate through at your own pace. Feel free to bring your own hard boiled eggs or we can get them ready for you! Horticulture with Amanda
Ages 7+
Horticulture is the art, science, and technology of growing plants. Make a craft using items found in nature while learning how and where they came from. Each class you will bring home a new plant for your home or garden and explore ways to propagate different plants in and out of the greenhouse.

We will be recycling milk jugs into mini greenhouses to sow seeds for our gardens. We will be sowing Native Perennials such as Yarrow, Agastache, Bee Balm, Salvia, Milkweed and Echinacea

DIY Seed Starting Trays
March 18 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM
This class is for individuals who want to sprout their own seeds, but are unsure of where to start. Using recycled materials, we will be making seed starting trays and planting some seeds to sprout for the spring. A variety of herbs, flowers and veggies will be provided, however, you may bring your own as well.
Rain Gardens

A rain garden is land planted with native plants that can help to absorb or hold back water during times of heavy rain, while also adding beauty to the landscape. Find out how they are done, why they are beneficial and what will survive in a rain garden.

Bring your bicycle and learn the basics to keeping your bike riding smooth all summer! Topics covered will include tire/ tube replacement, brake adjustments, chain repair and regular maintenance. All Ages
Join local guide Doug Kloet and learn about fish identification, what equipment to use, rod/reel and tip-up set-up and use, lures, bait selection, fish location, jigging skills, and basic knot tying. Instructor Lynette Vyhnanek is trained in Ballet (minor pointe work), Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, and Contemporary. Lynette has choreographed many solos, duos, and groups that hold First Place National Titles.

Tumble & Floor Gymnastics

In this co-ed class, you will learn the fundamental elements of floor gymnastics, with an emphasis on coordination, flexibility, and strength. Fun exercises and basic tumbling positions will be taught. Forward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and bridges must be mastered to move on to the intermediate level.

This co-ed program focuses on learning the fundamentals of basketball, with an emphasis on building skills and strategy to help players fully understand the game. Note: 3rd graders will break-off the last three weeks to engage in 3-on-3 mini games to reinforce the skills learned.

Start Smart Sports Development
Ages 2 - 4
Start Smart is a national program offered through the National Alliance for Youth Sports. This is an introductory sports program that prepares children 2-4 years old for organized sports. Parents work with their child, the instructor, and other kids in a fun, non-threatening environment to learn the basic skills of throwing, catching, kicking and batting. Both parents and children should dress in attire ready to play!

Golf Lessons

Learn fundamentals and prepare to bring your game to the course. Proper etiquette and safety will be taught. Classes will cover basic full swing fundamentals, putting and stroke fundamentals, chipping, pitching and sand shots, as well as taking your game from range to course. A limited supply of golf clubs are available to those that are in need.

Players must provide their own glove. Every player will experience every position throughout the 6 weeks and every player bats every inning. T-Ball focuses on the basics of throwing, catching, hitting, base running and positions. Coach Pitch starts off with the basics, then works on more advanced fundamentals of the game, such as outfield relay throws, when to stretch a base hit into a double and directional hitting.
