100-mile Challenge
Walk-Run-Hike-Snowshoe-Bike-Swim
Our goal is your goal... being more active! This fun challenge is to help keep you going. Join anytime. All you have to do is register, download the mileage log or pick it up at the Recreation Office, and start being active. Once you reach 100 miles, you earn a T-shirt!

* We've had questions about equivalent miles for bikes. It's generally accepted that:
15 spinning minutes = 7 bike miles = 1 walking mile.

The Big Foot Ball & Glove program is a non-profit, community organization designed to promote youth baseball and softball within the Big Foot Union High School District boundaries.

Big Foot Attack Youth Volleyball Team
For Youth Grades 5th - 8th

Registration Deadline - April 15
Female athletes will learn individual and team skills that will enable them to take their volleyball game to the next level.  Players will be coached by the BFHS volleyball coaching staff.  Big Foot Attack teams will travel to play against other schools in the area.

Grown-up & Me Cookie Decorating
Ages 7+ & Adult
Partner up with a grown up to make fun Christmas themed cookies. You will learn decorating techniques such as outlining, flooding, piping, and wet-on-wet techniques. Royal icing will be made in advance. Each set includes 4 cookies.

Girls Mini Attack Volleyball
Grades 1 - 4
Join Chad and the BFHS volleyball team and have fun while learning the fundamentals of the sport. The hour will be split between drills and playing the game.

Start Smart Sports Development
Ages 2 - 4
Start Smart is a national program offered through the National Alliance for Youth Sports. This is an introductory sports program that prepares children 2-4 years old for organized sports. Parents work with their child, the instructor, and other kids in a fun, non-threatening environment to learn the basic skills of throwing, catching, kicking and batting. Both parents and children should dress in attire ready to play!

Doggie Egg Hunt

Join us for our annual Easter Egg Hunt for Dogs! You and your four legged friends will scour the grasslands to find kibble filled eggs.

Fee: $10.00/dog, proceeds go to the Lakeland Animal Shelter

Flag Football Skills & Drills
Grades K - 5
Learn the fundamentals of flag football. Players will be in groups based on age. This is a skills and drills class to boost footwork, build skill sets, and give you the tools you need to improve your game. Some drills will include throwing, catching, and snapping a football. Players will also condition and work on flag pulling drills.

Come join six different art stations to rotate through at your own pace. Feel free to bring your own hard boiled eggs or we can get them ready for you! Electronics Recycling Day

Have old electronics laying around the house and don’t know what to do with them? Computers, monitors, printers, fax machines, phones, keyboards, wires, etc. will be recycled free of charge! There is a $25 fee for flat screen or tube tvs, and a $55 fee for wood console & projection tvs. Other fees may apply.

Come swim, splash, and slide at Timber Ridge's indoor waterpark: Moose Mountain Falls! With slides, hot tubs, kiddie pools, and more there is fun for the whole family. Access to the lodge and locker rooms begins at 12:00 pm. *Bring your own towel. Limited space available - max 75
