Electronics Recycling Day - at Big Foot!
Saturday, April 25 from 9:00 -11:00 AM
Have old electronics laying around the house and don’t know what to do with them? Computers, monitors, printers, fax machines, phones, keyboards, wires, etc. will be recycled free of charge! There is a $25 fee for flat screen or tube tvs, and a $55 fee for wood console & projection tvs. Other fees may apply.

Walk-Run-Hike
Our goal is your goal... being more active! This fun challenge is to help keep you going. Join anytime. All you have to do is register, download the mileage log or pick it up at the Recreation Office, and start being active. Once you reach 100 miles, you earn a T-shirt!

Girls Big Foot Attack Volleyball
Grades 5th - 8th
Female athletes will learn individual and team skills that will enable them to take their volleyball game to the next level. Players will be coached by the BFHS volleyball coaching staff. Big Foot Attack teams will travel to play against other schools in the area.

Buzzing Back - How to Support our Local Bumblebees
Join Carol Elkins of the Geneva Lake Conservancy for an inspiring and informative presentation on how to update your property to support our beloved - yet declining- fuzzy pollinators, the bumblebees. Learn to identify several common bumblebee species. Carol manages the Conservation @ Home program, working one-on-one with homeowners to create customized landscaping suggestions that enhance the local ecosystem.

How To Install Your Rain Barrel
Get your rain barrel from the Geneva Lake Conservancy this summer. We’ll show you how to attach a rain diverter to your gutter and then to the barrel itself. Additionally, we’ll learn how to care for the rain barrel, using pedestals & additional accessories, and more.

All Ages - Family Friendly
Make a tote bag, and build the confidence to make more in many sizes and fabrics. Materials included. All children under the age of 9 must have an adult present to help with the sewing machine.

UW Extension
Growing veggies and flowers seems out of the question when space is precious, especially in a small yard, no yard, or a patio/balcony. Keeping in mind the basics of plant health, we will explore ways that you can maximize the space that you do have. We’ll review a variety of methods such as container, square foot, vertical gardening and hydroponics.
