Crafts & Classes

Little Foot Adventures Club
Walking - 7 Years
Each class is a semi-structured introductory lesson followed by open play. Caregivers are asked to be present but participation is dependent on child’s needs. We will focus on small and large motor skills by including movement and crafts.

Frozen Frenzy
Ages 3-9
Join us for three fun filled days of all things Frozen: stories, crafts, science, cooking and more. Each day will feature different activities. This class is a parent drop-off class.

Ocean Commotion
Ages 3-9
Who’s ready for a vacation? Join us as we dive into the ocean and hit the beach (for pretend of course)! Let’s warm up this winter as we discover the ocean and all things tropical. We will make crafts, sing songs, read stories, make snacks and even have a Hawaiian luau! Life really is more fun in flip-flops! This class is a parent drop-off class.

Book Bunch
Ages 18 months - 4 years
Bring books to life with your child! We’ll storytell through puppetry, singing, dancing, and making art projects and edible creations. Reading aloud to kids develops language and emotions, fosters listening skills, activates and empowers imagination, promotes brain development and most importantly...it’s fun! A great way to build and strengthen relationships and create a love of reading! Each week will focus on a different children’s book.

DIY Kids Art Center
Grades 4K - 8
Come create your own masterpieces using many types of art materials and techniques in this fun and engaging environment. Art classes help develop skills such as fine motor, listening, and creativity. Each artist will create their own projects and be able to bring home their masterpieces.

Creative Chefs
All Ages - young child/family friendly
Children under 7 must have a parent present. Come make easy recipes with Lynette! Each class will be themed so you can show off your crafting skills. A great way to get out of the house and have some fun with the kids.

Tot Troupe - Early Education
Ages 3-5
Ready, set...school! This class is designed for the 3-4 year old child to help prepare them for future school success. The emphasis is on learning through play. Children will practice and develop social skills through peer and adult interaction, engage in early literacy, number sense, fine and gross motor skills, sensory and listening skills, and social activities. *This is a child drop off class. Caregivers do not stay with children. If you prefer to stay, please enroll in Tiny Tot Troupe.

Tiny Tot Troupe - Early Education
Ages: 18 months - 3 yrs
This class has the same objectives and themes as the Tot Troupe, but is designed for 1-2 year olds to experience with a caregiver. The same skills will be emphasized but outcomes will be reached through a more open-ended free exploration of the literacy, number sense, fine motor, gross motor and sensory stations that will be set up in the classroom. Adults and children can interact through stations at their own pace and experience school together. A great opportunity for children to practice social skills, sharing, following directions and engaging in both peer and parallel play.

Build a Bunny or Chick
All Ages
Watch your child’s eyes light up as you help them bring their adorable stuffed animal to life. Each child will receive a kit that includes the bunny or chick, the wishing star that goes inside, birth certificate, stuffing, and a bag to bring them home in!

Stroller Walk & Coffee Talk
Bring your stroller and your baby(ies) for a stroller walk to some of the finest local coffee shops. We will enjoy a leisurely walk that will last about an hour, and end at the coffee shop to relax and talk. In the event of inclement weather, we will still meet and enjoy our coffee talk. Please register in advance.

Daisy Girl Scouts
All girls who will be entering Kindergarten for the 2022-2023 school year will be eligible to be a Daisy. Please email your interest to your troop leader Lynette Vyhnanek at lvyhnanek@bigfoot.k12.wi.us. We will begin our Daisy Launch program this Spring here at BFHS! The girls will grow with each other through the years.

Special Events

Mommy & Me Tea Party
Ages 3 - 9
Bring your little one dressed in their fanciest tea party attire and create a day you both will remember forever! In the midst of all the fancy activities, we’ll enjoy snacks and tea. Girls will make a craft and have the opportunity to take photos in the beautiful banquet hall.
Advanced registration required.

Dance & Music Classes

Music for Little Mozarts
Ages 2 - 5
Come join us for this 10-week toddler/parent class where we explore the world of music. Join Mozart Mouse and Beethoven Bear as they have adventures in their classroom after the students have left for the day and discover music in the Big Music Book. Students will learn basics of music, high and low pitches, soft and loud dynamics, basic rhythms and classical music appreciation. Classes will also include learning to use different rhythm instruments and a coloring time at the end, so each student can express their artistic ability.

Youth Dance Classes

Dance Dress Code: Please check the list for attire/footwear you'll need for each level
Instructor Lynette Vyhnanek is trained in Ballet (minor pointe work), Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, and Contemporary. Lynette has choreographed many solos, duos, and groups that hold First Place National Titles.

Get ready to wiggle and move by learning to use your gross motor skills, following directions, making friends, and having fun! One adult per child is needed to participate. Siblings who are able to walk must be registered if present.

Kiddie Movement

Fee: $45

Prepare for dance by learning the language, developing self-confidence and structure, and having fun! The beginning skills of movement and dance will be taught..
Dance Foundations
Ages 4 - 6
Mondays: 4:45 - 5:25 PM
Fee: $60
This class will include ballet, jazz, and musical theater. Dancers will learn the fundamentals of ballet and jazz. Ballet barre and terminology is taught with the class.

Sports Programs

Start Smart Sports Development
Ages 2 - 4
Start Smart is a national program offered through the National Alliance for Youth Sports. This is an introductory sports program that prepares children 2-4 years old for organized sports. Parents work with their child, the instructor, and other kids in a fun, non-threatening environment to learn the basic skills of throwing, catching, kicking and batting. Both parents and children should dress in attire ready to play!

Youth Wrestling Club
Grades K - 8
Come join in the excitement of wrestling. Learn the basics of wrestling, balance, flexibility, coordination, and even nutrition. Compete against children of the same age and skill level. All levels, from beginner to experienced are encouraged to participate.

Youth Soccer
Ages 4 - 6
This program focuses on the basic fundamentals of soccer. Our instructor’s approach emphasizes the rules, basic moves, elementary and fun-filled drills. This well-rounded program breaks down each position for a full understanding of the sport.

Co-Ed Tee Ball & Coach Pitch
Tee Ball: Ages 5-6; Coach Pitch: Ages 6-8
Players must provide their own glove. Every player will experience every position throughout the 6 weeks and every player bats every inning. T-Ball focuses on the basics of throwing, catching, hitting, base running and positions. Coach Pitch starts off with the basics, then works on more advanced fundamentals of the game, such as outfield relay throws, when to stretch a base hit into a double and directional hitting.
